Spiritual Director: H.E. Kabje Kalu Rinpoche
The Venerable Kyab-Je Kalu Rimpoche the 2nd Master of the Shangpa Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism was reborn
on Sept. 17, 1990 and completed the traditional three years retreat in 2008 at the age eighteen.
Since this time Kalu Rimpoche has established his first three year Retreat at Sonada Monastery
for his Monks and has been traveling to his world wide Dharma Center's giving teachings and
empowerments. Although still young in years Rimpoche expounds timeless wisdom is a modern and
highly accessible way to his many beloved Friends and Students and we look forward to his Visit to
Kagyu Tenjay Choling Vermont.
Through the practices of the Shangpa Kagyu
Lineage and Teachings by visiting Lamas, KTC provides access
to western students in an atmosphere conductive to the development
of a respectful and nurturing Spiritual Community. KTC is
dedicated to promoting peaceful and supportive relationships
within our extended community and the general public
